This is my fourth Bike Rally. I grew up in Toronto, and left to seek my fortune in 1972. It has been so exciting to be back in Toronto with a bike, and to ride to Montreal along the route we used to travel when I was a kid. And the spirit and joy of the riders and support team are unparalleled!
The Rally supports the life-giving services of PWA (People with AIDS) Toronto. I am reaching out to encourage any of you who are able to contribute to give what you can. Any contributions that you make will be greatly appreciated not only by myself as a rider, but especially by the individuals who receive the services of PWA Toronto.
HIV/AIDS is very personal for me. I lost an army of friends to the epidemic. And I have an army of friends who are living with HIV right now. The need is very deep, and every contribution, small or large, matters!
