Welcome to my Friends for Life Bike Rally page!

 

This will be my third year volunteering as a registered massage therapist offering needed physical therapy, along with a healthy bit of encouragement, ( probably even a lot of laughter)  to riders participating in the Toronto to Montreal fundraising marathon.  I am so excited to be part of the Friends for Life Bike Rally in support of people living with HIV/AIDS.

This event is important to me because the money raised goes to help people living with HIV/AIDS. People who need food, wellness care, peer support or just to be in a place that is welcoming and safe for them. I think this is especially relevant and important in politically uncertain times that affect us at this moment. There may be medical breakthroughs that have reduced the mortality rate for this disease but there is still a stigma associated with those touched by it. There is still intolerance.
