I'm thrilled to be participating in the Friends for Life Bike Rally for the second year in a row—a 6-day, 600+ km cycling challenge from Toronto to Montreal that raises essential funds for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Why do I ride? Because despite progress, stigma and hardship remain a daily reality for many people affected by HIV/AIDS. And right now, supports for people living with HIV/AIDS are under attack globally—through funding cuts, political shifts, and increased discrimination. That makes this work more urgent than ever.

The money we raise goes directly to frontline organizations like PWA in Toronto, Trellis in Kingston, and ACCM in Montreal. These groups provide vital services—food, wellness care, peer support, and safe spaces—to people in our communities: our neighbours, friends, and co-workers.

Last year, I was proud (and a little amazed!) to reach my physical and fundraising goals, thanks to the incredible generosity of people like you. This year, I'm setting the same high bar, and I'm coming to you to ask for your help once again.
