I’m going to be joining the rally this year because I love my gay/queer/trans community with all my heart and HIV touches this community more than most. I’ve been raised in queer spaces where you can see in really tangible ways how mutual aid and community care are the fabric of what holds everything together. And so it’s such a joy to see a fundraiser that centres around getting food, wellness care and peer support to folks living with HIV/AIDS.

Also if you know me at all you know I’m a fucken freak that loves to bike, so it is also a nice opportunity to go run myself like a jack russell for several days. Encourage me and donate! Any amount is great, even if I just get to see your name on the list and have a little squeeze to myself.
