Welcome to my Friends for Life Bike Rally page.

 

I am so excited to be part of the Friends for Life Bike Rally in support of people living with HIV/AIDS. 

Each year hundreds of men and women take to the road on their bikes for a 6 day journey all to help those in need.  I joined the bike rally several years ago and do not regret any of it.  People often ask me why I do the bike ride.  My answer is that I like the challenge and knowing that at my age, I completed a 635 km bike ride.   In fact I look forward to this event each year.

 Through the months leading up to the rally, we are encouraged to complete training rides.  Each week the distance is a little farther.  This prepares the rider for the long distance, endurance  and the hills. We cover over the 6 day period a total of approximately 635 km.
