Dear friend,
Happy new year.. if you haven’t heard from me earlier this year.. may this new year bring the best to you, your loved one and your family.
If my elementary mathematics skill is correct, this year will be my ten years with bike rally. Since I started this bike rally journey either being crew nor 1-day rider. I have no idea there were so many up and down, what I have lost and still looking to that day to come.. long stories shot. If Derek Yee did not agreed to join the bike rally with me as a bike rally partner .. I would not be in this paths. We all been thur the pandemic and I got more unexpected experiences more than I wanted. Unfortunately Derek left this world during the pandemic as well just before the pandemic I had an accident and put everything on holds since
It’s just couple years ago I have learned JS also had the same accident like myself, fractured, tibia, and fibula in one leg. before going any further, I hope I’m not regretting to share this.. in my head, I’m not settle my current situation walking wait a cane. I still do not believe why I can walk without it as just like a normal person. I do not like this ‘new normal’ as everyone had described. Last year S have to amputated his leg due to medical conditions. I have seem him after the procedure and he is doing well and what strikes me was his resilience looking forward for the rehab as well deal with it and moving forward what to come.. I felt like I’m stocked in between these two people situations and I’m still not able to get over my own fortunate. However I’m still working on my leg with this chiropractor ; she have come up with new exercise to strengthen my leg after thusly examination. I have new hope someday I can be walk without a cane event carrying this disability. I’m looking up to JS and S without their knowing.. how they inspired me for my own healing journey. Someone said to me in my life I was given to deal with a very difficult set of cards.. however I do not accept that yet and still prowling forward… their attitude toward life had inspired me…. to keep moving forward in life. I’m greatly to know them.
I have exhausted my treatment budget since the end of December last year. Perhaps when the spring come I could continue the recovery plan again..
I’m grateful that many of you have supported me in many different ways.. to those showing me support with their generosity of pledges or donations as well to those of you helping me behind the senses.. assisting me to the road of the bike rally…
Here the link you can make some positive difference and some of the past bike rally photos in that link as well

To think of the BIG picture, when you are donating to me; it’s giving me the opportunity to be 1-day rider in the rally.. however your donations does not go to me rather it’s go to our community to support those in needs of the PWA support.
I have already started the indoor training already.. you can check their Facebook page.. I promise I will be in the group photo in the end of the training photo opt… since I do not have my camera on my hands.. with my dedication in training and continuing involvement with the bike rally except the breaks I took for myself so as everyone else due to the pandemic lockdown; however I hope my energetic believe would move you and give me your dollars support in return to support for the ride and your support will support our community. Very soon the indoor training will be over and the first day out door training is on April 11th as far as I was told… will find out what will the weather may be..
With luv
Cheers xo

The Bike Rally is important to me because money raised for Toronto PWA Foundation goes to help people living with HIV/AIDS: people who need food, wellness care, peer support; PWA provides a space that is welcoming and safe for them.
Please support my ride; you can make the positive difference and to support me reach my fundraising goal and more ...

I fractured my leg badly in Feb 2020, resulting in health complications, so I spent the first year of the pandemic in rehab: wheelchair, then slowly walking with 2 canes; I'm still doing physio on my own since 2023 I did the one day ride in 2016 and 2018; I returned to the bike rally as crew 2 years ago, with great help and encouragement from fellow crew members Tim and Jehd. Rehab, spin classes and short outdoor rides helped, to rebuild my strength; I'm determined to complete the 1-day ride again this year. I'm riding in memory of my bike rally partner of many years, Derek Yee. He passed away during the pandemic.
