After a decade of riding in the California AIDS/Lifecycle I’m coming home and participating in this years FRIENDS 4 LIFE BIKE RALLY from Toronto to Montreal.
This ride in support of PWA - People With AIDS foundation of Toronto is critical in supporting those living (and thriving!) with HIV.
If you’ve seen my posts, gotten a donation request email since 2016 you will know how important this cause is to me. You will also know that doing these rides has been life changing for me. I’ve been humbled by the support I’ve received and buoyed by the community found.
Now some of you will also say “but hey, he said last year was last year ever?” Yes that’s true, guess I lied. But this year you get TAX RECEIPTS! I’ve also convinced a dozen or so of my California friends to come north of the border and support out Canadian HIV/AIDS charities.
So I’m excited to be part of the Friends for Life Bike Rally in CANADA .
As always the work these charities do in supporting those with the disease, esp those aging with HIV and also in combating stigma is unbelievably important. Especially as cuts gloablly are threatening an HIV resurgence.
This cause is close to my heart, and I hope you can join me in supporting it!
