Welcome, and thank you for being here — unlike me, you made a sensible decision today.
For the 9th year running, I’ll be cycling 600+ kilometres from Toronto to Montreal in support of the PWA Foundation, an organization that provides food, wellness care, peer support, and a genuinely welcoming space for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Nine years. I’d like to say it gets easier. I would like to say that. Your donation — no pedalling required — goes directly toward people in our community who depend on PWA’s services. Canadian residents get a tax receipt for donations over $20, so you’ll even have paperwork to show for your generosity.
Thank you for supporting something that matters. I’ll be thinking of you somewhere around kilometre 400, when thinking is mostly what I have left.
