Happy Pride Season! As many of you know, I will be completing the Friends for Life Bike Rally over 7 days in August. I’ll be spinning for over 600 KM in the span of six days between Toronto and Montreal in support of people living with HIV/AIDS.
I decided to take on this challenge for a few reasons: to practice a sport that I’m passionate about with a goal in mind, to join in community building among 2SLGBTQI+ people, and, to support an initiative that seeks to improve the lives of those who are deserving of support. The funds will contribute to providing food, wellness care, peer support, and to maintaining spaces that are welcoming and safe for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Whether it be the cause, the sport challenge or simply the spirit of generosity that moves you, I would be most grateful for a donation towards my fundraising goal.
