I am thrilled to share that this is the first year Bruce House is an official partner of the Friends for Life Bike Rally in support of people living with HIV/AIDS.

I have taken on the challenge to ride from Kingston to Montreal a 300KM ride in honour of all the lives that have been lost.  There are two people who I miss so very much and they are my inspiration.  My dear friend who left us way to early at the age of 35 due to HIV complications.  This past April was the 20th anniversary of his passing.  And my dear dad who left us in February. I love you both so much and carry you in my heart. 

I could not do this without the support of my friends, partner, family , community members and co-workers. 

This event is important to me because the money raised goes to help people living with HIV/AIDS. People who need food, wellness care, peer support, medical care, or just to be in a place that is welcoming and safe for them.To learn more about Bruce House please visit: www.brucehouse.ca.
