I’m really proud (and a little excited!) to be participating in the Friends for Life Bike Rally this year, riding in support of people living with HIV/AIDS.

This isn’t just a bike ride, it’s a powerful community coming together to make a real difference.

This cause is deeply personal to me. My partner, Clive Miller, passed away from AIDS in 1994. He will always be in my heart, and riding in this rally is one of the ways I honour his memory.

Over the past year, I’ve also been focusing more on my health, and participating in this rally is another meaningful way for me to stay committed to that journey, both physically and emotionally.

The funds raised directly support people living with HIV/AIDS, providing essentials like food, wellness care, peer support, and safe, welcoming spaces where people are treated with dignity and respect.

Every dollar truly helps improve someone’s daily life.
