I’d like to say I signed up for the Friends for Life Bike Rally out of pure athletic passion… and honestly, I’m really glad I did.
It started with reading a heartfelt message about the Friends for Life Bike Rally and the incredible work it does supporting people living with HIV/AIDS—helping provide food, wellness care, peer support, and safe, welcoming spaces. By the time I finished reading, I was genuinely moved.
And the more I learned, the more it stuck with me.
The Friends for Life Bike Rally supports people living with HIV/AIDS—people who rely on these funds for essentials like food, healthcare, and community. It helps create spaces where people feel safe, supported, and not alone. That’s something worth showing up for.
So here I am—committed to the ride, training underway, and yes, now the proud owner of padded cycling shorts (which I’ve learned are absolutely essential… for survival reasons).
I’m proud to be part of something that makes a real difference.
If you’d like to support this amazing cause, please consider donating to my page. Or better yet, join the rally yourself—it’s an incredible experience for an important cause.
