Help support my 600Km fundraising bike ride to Montreal!
Hi there,
I’m coming to you again to ask for your support for my participation in the Friends for Life Bike Rally this August. This is my third year participating, and I’m excited to ride again. This 600+ km 6-day ride raises essential funds for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Why do I participate? Because despite progress, stigma and hardship remain a daily reality for many people affected by HIV/AIDS.
Did you know that Canada is the only G7 nation where rates of HIV are increasing? Already marginalized communities are the ones who bear the brunt of this increase.
The money raised goes directly to frontline organizations - I choose to support PWA in Toronto, but the ride also supports important organizations in Kingston, Montreal, and Ottawa. They provide important supports like food, wellness care, peer support, and to offer safe spaces.
I’ve already been busily training to get my body into shape for the grueling marathon, riding every weekend.
I really hope I can count on your support, and I truly appreciate every dollar.
