Another training ride
I’m going into my 12th year as a participant in the Friends for Life Bike Rally. I have been very fortunate to experience the Bike Rally from both a rider and crew member’s perspective. I keep coming back to participate in the event for 2 main reasons: to help the clients of PWA, and the wonderful friendships that have been formed over the years.
Now in it’s 25th year, the need within our community for the vital programs, services and supports provided by PWA has become greater than ever. I will be riding my bike from Toronto to Montreal in support of the event, to help raise funds and awareness regarding the amazing work completed on a daily basis by the staff at PWA, and to help ensure that their work can continue to meet the needs of individuals and families living with HIV and AIDS in the Toronto area.
