Welcome to my Friends for Life Bike Rally page!
I am so excited to be part of the Friends for Life Bike Rally in support of people living with HIV/AIDS. Most of you know that I have ridden in the Rally 7 times, and crewed as a Rustler (carrier of things), Road Support (cheering/safety), Road Support Leader (co-boss of cheerers and safety folks), and most recently 2 years of Co-Chairing the ride (coordinating the steering committee, leading the whole ride).
This year I am returning to my previous role as Road Support Co-Lead and I'm excited to take what I learned the last few years and apply it to the 2024 ride. It's a ton of work, and I wouldn't be volunteering my time if I didn't believe whole heartedly in our cause. Toronto People With AIDS Foundation provides much needed financial, emotional, and social support for those living with HIV/AIDS here in Toronto. Our ride has also partnered with Trellis in Kingston and ACCM in Montreal to expand our support for folks living with HIV/AIDS across the geography of our ride.
