This is my first year participating in the "Friends for Life Bike Rally" and I'm thrilled (and a touch scared) to embark on the longest bike ride of my life. For the last 8 years I've been wanting to participate but couldn't due to summer school commitments. This year marks my school completion and my bike rally initiation!
I've enjoyed studying and taking part in community courses with people living with HIV/AIDS and learning how to take action, but it's time to finally put my money (and legs) where my mouth (and ....brain?) is.
I'm aiming to raise at least $1950 over the year for Friends for Life Bike Rally. The Friends for Life Bike Rally supports of people living with HIV/AIDS by allocating the money raised to those who need food, wellness care, peer support or just to be in a place that is welcoming and safe for them.
There are a few ways to get involved:
Donate to my page to help me reach my fundraising goal, which is currently only $1950
Joining the Friends for Life Bike Rally, creating your own fundraising page, and joining us as we bike to Montreal (or any stop along the way)!
I hope you'll join me at the Friends for Life Bike Rally and help support my fundraising efforts with a donation.
You can do so by making an online donation via credit card.
This is an amazing cause that is close to my heart and to the heart of my community. I hope, and thank you, for joining me in supporting it!
